Piet Truhlar is an award-winning and accomplished Berlin-based photographer and director. His ability to capture distinctive moments of great intensity is a trademark throughout Piet‘s work, producing cinematic images that are deeply authentic and genuine. His influential, visually contagious style rubs shoulders with various artistic and cultural references. In the wake of developing his highly dynamic photographic approach, Piet is perpetually seeking to push the range and scope of his practice to new heights.
Czech-born Piet Truhlar grew up in Bavaria. He studied visual arts at Kunsthochschule Weißensee and HTW Berlin, where he became a student of East German photographer Professor Manfred Paul. Piet can count many happy global players under his belt, including the likes of Audi, BMW, Credit Suisse, Ikea, Lufthansa, DHL and Tmobile.
He has been also engaged in social community work in order to keep the world a more loving place Piet is a dedicated father, husband and yogi alongside his passionate creative work.
Piet Truhlar is currently living with his wife and his two sons in Berlin.
